Enlightenment through tree planting

End of November was one of the best weekends of 2019… tree planting in Borrowdale. Went up on my own to stay with old friends, Katherine and Robin of Flynne's Barn. Spent most of the time planting trees – a nice native mix of hazel, willow, alder, oak and whitethorn, a similar combination to the stuff I’ve planted in Doolin over the years. It's the kind of thing that makes me very contented. Very peaceful and happy couple of days. Then played music and drank whiskey at night! (Regram from @flynnesbarn)
